We’ll discuss how often our children lose sight of their authentic power resulting in their stunted growth as a result of dealing with stress, anxiety, and issues from home and community, to succeeding and excelling academically, and from the all-consuming social media outlets. Resulting in self-esteem issues of “Am I enough?”, “I’m not pretty”. “I’m different.”

Typically the emotional challenges adults face began very early in childhood. The show will focus on how we can shift the narrative to empowering our children to heal and thrive through mindfulness and socio-emotional development. Growing and thriving into emotionally and mentally healthy adults. Our special guests will be author/writer and educator Ashley Williams of Infinite Focus, Inc. and Truancy/Attendance Counselor with DC Public Schools and Pastor of Open Door Metropolitan Community Church Rev. Wendy Hamilton.
